The miPOSITION Gen 2 Pendant is a compact, lightweight wearable available as a lanyard or wristband. It’s dustproof, water-resistant, and built to withstand daily wear in care environments. With a typical battery life of one year, and durable casing engineered for long-term use, residents can wear their pendant comfortably and reliably, day or night. Alerts are cancelled with a magnetic tag issued only to authorised staff members.

At the heart of miPOSITION is real-time positioning. miPOSITION Pendants provide continual location updates, allowing you to quickly locate any resident, at any time, with or without an active alarm.
The system is fully integrated with miALERT EMS, allowing staff to view pendant status, location, and alert history in real time from the same intuitive web platform. Alerts can be triggered manually or automatically through built-in fall detection, with event details instantly relayed across the facility and beyond.
Automatic Fall Detection for Faster Emergency Response
The miPOSITION Gen 2 Pendant features built-in fall detection, adding an extra layer of protection for residents at risk of injury. Using advanced motion-sensing technology, the pendant can automatically detect sudden falls and generate an alert, even if the resident is unable to press the call button. These alerts are immediately transmitted to the miALERT EMS platform, where staff are notified in real time with the resident’s precise location. This rapid response capability helps reduce the time a resident may spend unattended after a fall, supporting better outcomes and peace of mind for families and caregivers alike.

The system’s hub-and-spoke design makes installation straightforward. miPOSITION Gen 2 Repeaters are mounted in key locations to provide both tracking and wireless coverage. These low-profile units require only a power source and basic labelling; no complex site mapping or fingerprinting required. miPOSITION Gen 2 Gateways manage up to 16 repeaters each and communicate directly with the miALERT EMS. Each gateway also supports integration with miBUS devices and includes a web-based interface for local configuration and diagnostics.
