Description
This Patent Pending miPosition system by miAlert is designed so one can quickly see the current zone where the pendant is located. The higher the number of miPosition beacons in an area the tighter the focus is at positioning that pendant.
Wander management is achieved by placing the beacons strategically near doorways. Adding Satellites to the beacons cost-effectively extends their range of covered area. The integrated Inputs and Outputs enable the system to lock the door when needed either locally or via our miLink EMS (Event Management Server) for larger installations.
As the pendant comes in contact with a new beacon it wakes up and makes a supervisor call back to the miLink server. The server applies rules to the information received and takes the appropriate action. Historical data can be retrieved later for analysis if desired.
